1 CME (continuing medical education) credit = 1 CEC (continuing education credit) = 1 contact hour
1 CEU (continuing education unit) = 10 contact hours
0.1 CEU = 1 contact hour
For example: 20 CME = 20 CEC = 20 CE = 20 contact hours = 2 CEU
Why should I stay at the same hotel or resort that the seminar is being held? . . .
Staying in guest rooms at the official conference hotel helps us offset the costs of meeting space, group food and beverage, and many other costs associated with our meetings.
Attendees who stay in other non-official hotels do not help offset these expenses nor do they limit the Company's liability for low sleeping room usage at our contracted hotel(s) which then increases our exposure to financial penalties. Your assistance in helping CVConferences in this regard will, in turn, help to keep its conference costs reasonable which will be a great benefit for all of us now and in the future.
Can you guarantee special room requests (i.e., bed type and room locationg?). . .
Typically, all special requests, such as bed type, high or low floors, or rooms near elevator, are assigned by the hotel upon check-in and are based on availability. However, a special request may be guaranteed if you are willing to pay a higher rate for your accommodations.
While requests made at our discounted rate are not guaranteed, please note that the hotels do their best to accommodate all requests whenever possible.
We are happy to note, on your reservation, any special requests you may have and submit it to the hotel.
Do you offer letters of invitation?. . .
We are happy to send a Letter of Invitation if needed to support your VISA application via email in Adobe PDF.
We will only issue letters for persons who have registered and paid for an event.
Please review the course cancellation fees listed on the registration form. Please note, if you are a no-show to the meeting, a tuition refund or tuition hold cannot be issued. Any hotel cancellation penalties will still apply.
Is there a dress code?. . .
There is no dress code for meeting attendees. You are learning, so we want you to be comfortable! Most attendees dress anywhere from casual to business casual.
We do suggest wearing layers or bringing a light sweater or jacket along as meeting room temperatures are difficult to control.

Yes, we now accept credit cards for tuition. You may provide your credit card information with your online registration form.
You will receive a receipt via email as soon as your credit card has been charged.
Can my spouse, child, or friend sit in on the lectures?. . .
Lecture attendance is for paying attendees only. Non-medical professionals are welcome to attend at the RN/Other tuition rates. We do not break down tuition by the lecture, but we are happy to provide you with a daily seminar tuition price.
We do not allow children in the classroom due to occasional graphic lecture content, slides and noise issues.
Are your meetings tax deductible?. . .

What are your office hours?. . .
Our office is open Monday-Friday, from 8am-5pm, Central Standard Time.
An emergency is preventing us from attending! Can you refund our hotel or CME fees?. . .
There are no exceptions to any stated hotel/cme cancellation policy.
Dates are held exclusively for you. We highly recommend travel insurance which can be purchased to cover last minute cancellations under certain circumstances, and also covers many other things such as emergency care, rental car damage, and lost baggage.

Do you offer discounted parking?. . .
Discounted parking is available at the Huron-St. Clair garage, located at 222 E. Huron Street or at the Erie-Ontario garage, located at 321 E. Erie Street. Please visit the registration table for parking validation.
